Onigiri
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
Use your charge attack to launch enemies!
This beta release features five linear levels - which should take on average 20 minutes to beat - as well as an Arcade Mode where you can really put your skills to the test in a bunch of difficult challenges.
Note that while you can select all levels from the get-go, you are supposed to play them in order - the free level selection was mainly left in for accessibility reasons, for example so you can still see the final level if you get stuck on level 4.
Finally, if action games are not your cup of tea, you can turn on Easy Mode in the settings at any time to take significantly less damage and hopefully have a better experience.
--------------------------------------------
/!\ For trackpad users:
It is heavily recommended to play using a mouse or a controller, but if you only have a trackpad at your disposal keep in mind you can attack using Left Shift and throw the grenade using Left Alt (Left Option for MacOS).
--------------------------------------------
/!\ For MacOS users:
In case you have problems opening the app, try running this command in the terminal from the Applications folder
chmod -R +x Onigiri.app/Contents/MacOS
In case that fails, try unzipping the archive through a third party tool such as The Unarchiver, as the default Mac unzipper can sometimes cause problems.

The game is very fun, one of the best prototypes by far.
The bat swinging mechaninc is very similar to Enter the Gungeon's "Casey" weapon and I think, if tweeked a bit, it can feel as good as that if not better. 2 things that concerned me while playing: controllers and repetiton.
For the controllers: the mouse and keyboard work well enough but on gampad, I can only control the character's movement. It would be awsome to heve the rest of the movement adapted to controller because I believe that would fell more confortable
For the repetition: If you only have one weapon and 4 different types of enemies, the game can get stale. Maybe adding more stages or enemies could make the game engaging for more time. Honestly, the bat is so satisfying, I only need an excuse to keep using it to hit new goons.
