The dice mechanic is not very satisfiying. If the intent is to do a more interesting Pokemon game, it just comes accross as making the randomized nature of Pokemon Battles more time consuming and annoying. If the dices combination is fundamental to the gameplay, maybe making it into somewaht of a cardgame where the dices represent the actual attacks, not the status of the attacks wouls be more interesting. Right now, other the amount of times we can roll the dices, we as players don't have much agency on the battle at all so the game becomes boring fast.
I have played both the fights multiple times and found some bugs: - The audio of the rolling dices is desynced with regard to the animation, the audio is way shorter than the animation - During gameplay, if you press esc to open the menu and close it with the button "back" instead of pressing esc again, the game will still be in pause until you press esc, during this time you can press the roll button and the audio will play and you can also move the dices, the roll animation will execute only when the game is resumed - The core mechanic of moving the dices to the attack squares has a big inconsistency problem with locking the dices, it has happened multiple times that I placed some die on them and they were rolled anyway. It is very unclear when they are actually locked - The attack of the enemies is delayed with respect to the one of the player, basically you can spam the attack button and win every fight before their damage starts to arrive - The volume of the audio at the start of the game doesn't match the starting position of the slider in the settings menu
