Love the game idea! I just have a couple suggestions that could make the game a bit more enjoyable in my opinion: 1. I kept trying to place the nail in advance on the screen and then just press at the right moment, but that's very tricky because the nail is anchored to the screen coordinates instead of the world coordinates and the camera moves a lot during jumps, which can get a bit frustrating. Anchoring the nail to the world coordinates and/or having a more "stable" camera view would help the game a lot I think. 2. I think having a shortcut to restart the level is great, I would consider also adding a Z shortcut for removing the last nailed piece so one doesn't have to redo the whole level, but that also depends on which direction you want to take the game in, if more strategic or fast-paced :) Good luck! :)
Hi, thanks for the feedback. We are already working on a good way to implement point 2. As far as point 1 is concerned, we actually though of making the nail not use world coordinates because otherwise you would just place the nail in the right spot and then move towards that position, while we wanted to make it so that you have to aim in the "moment of action". Did you try to use the glide mechanic to nail yourself in a specific position? As i wrote, we were told that this way of doing the nailing isn't very intuitive, but those who figured out reported a far better experience with the nailing overall (we are looking for a way to make it more explicit). If you didn't think of it, would you like to try it and see if it makes it any better? Just use the glide when you are near the place you want to be nailed, and then aim and shoot :) It would really be helpful for us to understand if it makes it any more accessible
