Welcome to MurderMisteryInc! 
Your mission: design and execute the perfect murder without getting caught.

The Rules:

1) Plan Your Actions in the Timeline: Use the timeline bar to choose the type of actions you'll take to achieve your objective, shown in the top-left corner of the screen. Assign actions to agents by selecting a slot on their corresponding line. Each slot represents a moment in time. Once a slot is selected, pick a verb (e.g., "Take," "Drop," or others), add the necessary complements (such as objects, rooms, or people), and click "Create Action" to save it. The impact of each action depends on various factors like timing, location, and chosen complements.

2) Explore and Strategize: Objects in the scene are listed on the left. Hover over them to see their effects and potential advantages. The same applies to people at the event. They have unique traits that can influence your plan. Be cautious! Some actions have consequences that might affect later steps. You can delete an action and revise your plan using the delete button in the action's slot.

3) Manage Agent Inventories: Each agent has one inventory slot. Use verbs like "Take" or "Drop" to manage their items, but remember, these actions take up slots in the timeline. Having the right weapon at the right time is crucial to executing the murder of your dreams!

4) Plan for Complex Actions: Some actions may require multiple timeline slots to complete. This will be indicated during the planning phase.

5) Execute Your Plan: When your timeline is complete, hit the "Start" button at the top-right corner. Watch your characters execute their actions while observing the event’s guests. Guests have their own behaviors, which can either help or hinder your plan.

6) Monitor the Suspicion Bar: During the execution, the Suspicion Bar dynamically tracks how suspicious your actions are. Actions that are loud, poorly timed, or lack an alibi will increase suspicion. If your suspicion level gets too high, you’ll be caught, and your plan will fail.

7) Adapt and Retry: If you notice your plan is failing, you can stop the execution at any time and adjust your strategy.
