A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux

Overview ðŸ¤–

This is a 2D rogue-lite game, with top-down perspective and dark sci-fi artstyle.

You impersonate a robot that has been discarded, as deemed to not being useful anymore. Now, you have to fight your way out of a junkyard, which resembles a cemetery due to other dismantled machines.

Story, background, and lore

In a distant future, robots are exploited for everyday needs by humans. But as technology progresses at a fast pace, most of them quickly become outdated, and are disposed to recycle their materials.

You have been dismantled because of your bugs and badly implemented functionalities.

Characters

You are a robot with no particular distinctive and innovative feature. However, this is also your main advantage: in contrast to other robots, you are able to use your modularity to be versatile in your tasks and in combat.

Too zoomed in. Please zoom the camera out a bit

In a game where the whole point seems to survive by killing minions, penalyzing the player for shooting is not a good idea. I get that this was probably what the original concept was but in practice this just makes the game very unfun to play as I have to constantly watch my health while I do the only real thing that there is to do in this game: shooting.

If the waepons were overpowered, in a way they would one-shot most enemies, then I could see the health mechanic as a necessary balance, but right now the weapons are very weak and you need like 10 shots to kill the most basic minion so, it just feels that the game is punishing me for playing it.

Also, why make the weapons shoot with different mouse buttons? Dual-wielding guns should feel like an awsome power up but I feel powered down as I now have to worry about two guns taking my health away and not even making that much more damage than just one gun.
