Didn't really get the point of the "magnet" mechanics. The boxes in the begining of the level weren't moved when I used the power, so what is it for?

Hi, that is an issue due to the fact that the game was built on Windows, and Unity for Windows does not automatically give execution rights to the app.

To fix this, follow these steps:

  • Open the folder where the "BeNeutral_Mac" folder was downloaded (usually, that would be the "Downloads" folder);
  • Right-click on the "BeNeutral_Mac" folder and choose "Services" -> "New Terminal at Folder";
  • In the Terminal window, type chmod -R +x ./BeNeutral.app/Contents/MacOS
  • Now you should be able to open the app normally

Playing both characters at once definitely add a layer of difficulty but it's still pretty doable so I enjoyed a lot. Not sure if its intended but if you are high enough you can just stick the characters to the roof and "skip" all obstacles.

I don't know if it's a feature or a bug, but in the last level if you keep pressing to jump and you are touching the roof you can walk on the roof, and you can skip almost all the level. Also the Magnetic field is introduced and never used, or at least i didn't get how could i use it during the level.

I played it with a friend, but we didn't understand what is the purpose of the magnetic field and how it should work. After dying the characters can't shoot anymore and the checkpoint spawn you in a not safe position (after respawning we start taking damage because of the distance between the characters). I also think that using the Up-Arrow to jump with the upside down player is a little counterintuitive.

Hi, thank you for your valuable feedback. We will definitely take it into account for the next builds of the game.

Just a quick note since you were unable to shoot after dying, we are happy to tell you that the bug is fixed in the latest build of the game, which you can download now

I write here since there is no feedback system implemented in the game. I liked the game idea but it is a bit hard, at least for me, to coordinate the 2 characters while playing. Also, I found 2 major bugs. Once in a certain moment in the first level after restarting from the game over  I couldn't shoot anymore. Also, another major bug is that I died and started at the next level. Also, it can help with some sound effects or background music, but this is minor.

Hi, thank you for your feedback.

Regarding the inability to shoot after restarting, that was definitely a bug and it is fixed in the latest build of the game, which you can download now.

For the second bug (the one where you died and started in another level), can you tell us something more about what happened? (for example, in which level you were before dying and where in that level, the cause of your death etc.) This would really help us find out the cause of the bug.

I was in the first level after the tutorial, I died and restarted from the tutorial. At that moment I had trouble with the shooting and when one of the 2 characters died I spawned in the level 1 starting point.
