B-Side: A Musical Journey

Step into a vibrant vinyl store where music becomes gameplay. B-Side is a music-infused action game where you drift along spinning records, dodging hazards and collecting notes in sync with an original retro soundtrack. Navigate three lanes on each vinyl as they rotate beneath you, choosing your path through decades of music: from the groovy 60s to the electric 90s.

Controls

	Lane Movement	Switch between the three lanes on the vinyl
	Drift Control	Dash forward to counteract the vinyl's drift (costs points!)
	Jump	Jump over the grooves' hazards
	Pause	Pause/Resume during gameplay
	Flip Vinyl	Flip vinyls during level selection
	Main Menu	Return to main menu at any time

When you have decided which level to play, drag the needle onto the vinyl to start the track!

How to Win & Earn Fragments

Each level is a complete musical journey. To win, you must:

• Survive until the end of the track without falling off the vinyl
• Maintain a positive score by collecting good notes and avoiding bad ones

To earn the Fragment for that decade: win the level AND reach the target score threshold.

What are Fragments?

Fragments are collectible pieces of vinyl history. Collect them all to unlock the ultimate mixup level, a mashup journey through all decades!

Score System

Points	Action
+10	Collecting good notes (blue ones, dancing to the beat 🕺🏻)
-10	Hitting bad notes (red ones, not fans of music!)
+5	Perfect jumps over dance floor hazards, we reward your courage!
-15	Using the dash to counteract drift, faster is not always better ;)

Choose Your Vibe, Not Your Difficulty

In B-Side, level selection is all about the music. Browse the vinyl store and pick the track that speaks to you in the moment, just like flipping through records at your favorite shop. Let the music guide your choice :)

Completing all levels can be challenging, and we don't want you to get frustrated, so take your time and enjoy the journey. Progress is tracked, and the final mashup is waiting for you!!
