Truly indecrible and with so much potential! I like it!
Hey your game is very cool ! The gameplay is smooth and engaging !
I just test the new version and one thing that I saw is when you walk on a thing the character is flying a bit. That seems caused by the little weight of the character. I also notice that when you dash against a wall, you're bouncing weirdly on it.
Apart from this, I really want to see the next level
nice game!
a few tips:
maybe you should swap dash and arrow recall. also, when shooting arrows near a wall it get clipped.
Thank you! We put dash and recall there because the more you play the more you'll use dash and less the recall :)
We'll fix all clipping problems in the beta, also you'll have checkpoints!
Hi! I'm Bottolo, the youtube videos guy! I'm trying to play Arrow on Windows, however the cursor is locked in place and I can't shoot where I want... This doesn't happen when playing on its webpage. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?
Hey! Maybe you have a controller plugged in? We have partially implemented joypad controls so it gets the priority but it's not completed yet! If you plug it off it should work!
Okay, I had a controller plugged in. Sorry!
no worries, our fault :) Since the aim is independent we need to choose either the joypad analog angle or the mouse position, so we need to have a priority on that! I just uploaded a build that totally ignores the controller for now :)
The game is funny and I like the arrow mechanic, good job! The only thing I didn't like is the fact that when you die you restart from the beginning, some checkpoint would be useful for someone like me that dies every couple of minutes, otherwise I lose interest in finishing the game
Hi Dr. D! In the next release we will surely put some checkpoints here and there, thanks for the feedback! And don't give up :D
WTF!! SO COOL!!!!
when i was playing this game i was POGGING so hard that my mouth started hurting! LOL!!
level design is 10/10 and you CANT argue about this
the mechanics are simple but THEY HAVE SO MUCH POTENTIAL AND DEPTHS LMAO
i'm so thrilled to see WHAT THEY WILL DO for the COMPLETE GAME........yoooooOOOO
i wish the developers THE BEST OF LUCK!!!
WOW! Really fun and engaging, the gameplay is not too hard but challenging enough and the game visuals are really impressive. The arrow mechanic is just genius. Really well done overall, can't wait for the final version!
<3
impressively fleshed out. includes a journal, a long level, multiple enemy types (including a boss with multiple attack patterns!), and fun game mechanics.
the ending suggests new game mechanics, and considering how well the authors have used the existing ones, i can't help but wonder what the next level would look like.
a couple possible improvements: the animation of falling down is REALLY cute, but it doesn't always activate; if you miss a feather, you have no way to know roughly where to look at it: maybe consider setting an order to them, so if you miss one you can tell from the journal what number that was; can we get an animation for death? everything else is so cute that i really want to know what it would look like...
if i had to change anything, I'd make it longer! waiting for the next level...
Thanks, I was unsure at first about checking this game out. Your expert opionion is what I needed to decide whether to try this project or not
Thanks for the feedback pollomarzo !
We will for sure look better into the animations for the next updates.
The feather order is something I didn't think of that makes absolutely sense.
Thanks again, we will improve it for sure.
Come later on in the month to try it again !
